Admired: A Poem

People make a path for Her Highness,

The Popularity Queen.

Time stops until She passes.

Boys freeze in their spots, 

Immobilized by the sheer beauty.

Girls freeze in their spots, 

Immobilized by the pure awesomeness of Her.

She passes with a smiling face, 

But in her mind, evil thoughts flow through.

She insults the ones considered dorks and nerds

She trips them in the cafeteria, 

Saying "Oops! Sorry! Didn't see you there!"

Her cronies laugh and point and make rude comments.

All the while, She's thinking of how to hurt them the most.

She's admired by all but only because they're kept in the dark.

she walks through the hall. 

People laugh and point. 

They make no path for her. 

The Queen walks by and trips her.

she lands on her face, books scattered everywhere.

No one bothers to help.

He finally helps her up

she's thankful and runs off to class. 

He becomes friends with her.

Best friends,

Girlfriend and boyfriend.

He admires her,

For her kindness,

Generosity,

Brains, 

her entire person.

she is admired by those who truly know her.

It doesn't matter if you are 

A he or a He, 

This poem is asking one question;

Would you rather be admired everywhere as something you are not, 

Or be admired by few as something you really are?
